We were the prime engineering firm on a design build team that was able to save this Food processor upwards of $6 million dollars on their new wastewater pretreatment system.
The system consisted of the following major system components:
- Bar Screen to remove large debris
- Aerated grit chamber and classifier to remove finer grit
- Three Rotary Drum Screens and Dewatering Screw to remove finer solids
- Equalization Basin to hydraulically equalize the flow prior to the Primary DAFs
- Two Primary DAF Cells
- Influent and Effluent Pump Stations
- Automation and Controls
- New Equipment Building
