Design Build

REC is a national leader in design-build delivery. REC can offer design build as alternative to the traditional design bid build project delivery method.Design build has offered many clients the opportunity to stream line the overall project lifecycle saving valuable time due to the compressed design and construction schedules.

Design build is an integrated project delivery approach that can offer clients substantial value in terms of value engineering, guaranteed price, no contractor-initiated change orders, overall reduced risk, reduced cost, streamlined process, and an accelerated design and construction schedule for the project. The design build approach allows for sole source responsibility through the design builder and provides a collaborative working environment for the contractor and engineer as well as the client which promotes the “one” team concept working together to ensure success.

REC has been involved in design build projects for over 15 years in the Industrial, Municipal and Federal markets. REC will partner with a preferred contractor to act as the Design Builder or Joint Venture Team to provide the build portion of the project.
